Wood which is processed under the IPPC/ISMP15 standard is specially marked. This mark guarantees the standard, company which processed the wood and the date of processing. This standard is accepted world-wide. Its main purpose is to prevent the international transport and spread of disease and insects that could negatively affect plants or ecosystems.
CE marking is a mandatory conformity marking for certain products sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. The CE marking is also found on products sold outside the EEA that are manufactured in, or designed to be sold in, the EEA. This makes the CE marking recognizable worldwide even to people who are not familiar with the European Economic Area. The CE marking is the manufacturer’s declaration that the product meets the requirements of the applicable EC directives.
FSC chain of custody certificate
Forest Stewardship Council – FSC, Chain of Custody – CoC certificate system is based on tracking principals and provides the ability to distinguish wooden products, which are obtained from responsibly controlled forests. This FSC system is also called the origin conformity certificate because it allows to track all the supply chain from the forest to the final buyer.
